Blockdaemon will update Solana Mainnet RPC nodes to v2.1.16 on 03/19/25. We are updating our RPC nodes due to a critical release from the Solana foundation. This update applies to all Blockdaemon Solana Mainnet RPC nodes only, there will be planned downtime of up to 60 minutes per node. Please be aware that depending on the geographic location, some nodes may require more than 60 minutes to fully sync with the network after the upgrade.

Blockdaemon would like to inform customers of the Stellar Testnet reset which is scheduled for March 19th, 2025 at 17:00 UTC. This will result in downtime for the Testnet network. This applies to all Blockdaemon Stellar Testnet nodes, there will be planned downtime of up to 3 hours while the Testnet reset occurs.

BSC's Pascal Hard Fork will take place on 20th March 2025 @ 02:00 UTC, and brings a number of improvements to the protocol. You can find the list of changes here:

The Pascal hard fork enhances BSC’s Ethereum compatibility by integrating key features from Ethereum's Pectra upgrade. Specifically:

Scheduled - Blockdaemon will update all Westend, Kusama and Polkadot nodes to v1.17.2 as well as Sidecar API to v20.1.0 on 03/05/25. We are updating our nodes due to a release from the Parity foundation. This update applies to all Blockdaemon Westend, Kusama and Polkadot nodes. There will be planned downtime of up to 5 minutes per node.

Please be aware of the breaking change in the staking-info endpoint that Sidecar API v20.0.0 introduces;

fix: claimed in staking info endpoint (#1445) (e11955a)
- The field claimed in the endpoint's response has changed structure and now we have a separate status for each era returned.
- The status values are different for validator and nominator account.
- The logic that calculates the era status was completely refactored.

Scheduled - Blockdaemon will update all Ethereum nodes on Sepolia network to the latest version, in preparation for the Pectra Hard Fork. There will be planned downtime of up to 5 minutes per node. This upgrade will involve the following Ethereum clients:

- ETH2 Teku
- ETH2 Nimbus
- ETH2 Prysm
- Go-Ethereum
- Reth
- Erigon
