Blockdaemon will update all OP-Stacks Mainnet and Testnet nodes, Optimism, Ink, Unichain (OP-Stacks on July 13, 2026, starting at 5:30 AM UTC. We are updating our nodes due to a release from the Optimism foundation. These updates include Unichain v5.6.0 ,and OP-node v1.19.2

This update applies to all Blockdaemon OP-Stacks Mainnet and Testnet nodes, which included Optimism, Ink, Unichain (OP-Stacks) and there will be planned downtime of up to 30 minutes per node.

[Cardano] - Ogmios upgrade to v7.0.0 Jul 14, 2026 10:00-11:00 UTC

Blockdaemon will update Cardano Ogmios nodes to v7.0.0 on 07/14/2026 at 10:00 UTC. We are updating our nodes due to a release from the Cardano foundation. This update applies to all Blockdaemon Cardano Ogmios nodes, there will be planned downtime of up to 30 minutes per node.

Please be aware that the Ogmios release contains the following breaking change:
- on ProtocolParameters and ProposedProtocolParameters, the field maxReferenceScriptsSize has been renamed to maxReferenceScriptsSizePerTransaction to disambiguate it from maxReferenceScriptsSizePerBlock.
- transaction object now omits the validityInterval and outputs fields when they're empty.
- Byron bootstrap witness encoding has changed from a single 64-bytes key payload to a combo key + chain-code.

Removed: transaction submission and evaluation no longer include shelley, allegra and mary parsing hints on errors. Only alonzo onwards is included.

Identified - We would like to inform customers that Canton Mainnet is currently under a Topology Freeze as part of an upstream Canton synchronizer upgrade. This is not a Blockdaemon-initiated change.

The freeze began Friday, June 26 at 13:00 UTC and is expected to conclude just after 13:00 UTC on Saturday, June 27. During this period, topology changes are temporarily disabled. Customers attempting such operations may receive errors indicating the network is frozen. All other operations, including normal transaction processing, continue to function as expected.
