The Sprial Hard Fork is scheduled to activate on the Ethereum Classic mainnet at 18:00 UTC on Feb 4th, 2024. Similar to previous upgrades on Ethereum Classic, the Spiral Hard Fork is a compatibility update that includes technical changes to a number of OPCODEs relevant to the network. The Spiral Upgrade will bring the ETC Network to parity with upstream EVM standards, facilitating contract development and migration

We do not expect any downtime as a result of this hard fork. Please see the official announcement from the Ethereum Classic foundation
