Blockdaemon will update Tezos Mainnet nodes to v21.0 on 12/03/24. We are updating our nodes due to a release from the Tezos foundation. This update applies to all Blockdaemon Tezos Mainnet nodes, there will be planned downtime of up to 10 minutes per node.
Please be aware that this release contains multiple breaking changes, for full details please examine the change log. The following changes relate to RPC nodes;
- Removed support for deprecated version 0 for RPCs GET ../mempool/monitor_operations, POST ../helpers/preapply/operations, GET ../blocks/, GET ../blocks//metadata. and GET ../blocks//operations.
- Removed support for deprecated version 1 for RPC GET ../mempool/pending_operations. )
- Removed support for deprecated version 0 from RPCs POST ../helpers/parse/operations, POST ../helpers/scripts/run_operation and POST ../helpers/scripts/simulate_operation. (MR !13451)
- Decommissioned deprecated /chains//checkpoint RPC endpoint. Use /chains//levels/{checkpoint, caboose, savepoint}, or /config/history_mode instead to obtain the current checkpoint for this chain.
- Decommissioned deprecated /monitor/commit_hash RPC endpoint. Use /version instead.
We have tested the release and do not anticipate any unexpected downtime other than mentioned above as a result of the update. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
