Blockdaemon will perform scheduled protocol upgrades for all OP Superchains, including Optimism, Base, Unichain, Ink, and Soneium, January 14th, 2026, at 10:00 UTC.
These updates include OP-node v1.16.5, and OP-geth v1.101605.0

Impact:
During the maintenance window, customers may experience up to 10 minutes of downtime per node while upgrades are applied.
All services will automatically resume normal operation once completed.

This upgrade addresses bugs found in the upsteam Ethereum geth client
