[Polkadot & Sidecar API] - Upgrade to Polkadot v1.22.1 & Sidecar API v20.14.1

Blockdaemon will update all Westend, Kusama and Polkadot nodes to v1.22.1 as well as Sidecar API to v20.14.1 on 05/12/2026 at 12:00 UTC. We are updating our nodes due to a release from the Parity foundation. This update applies to all Blockdaemon Westend, Kusama and Polkadot nodes, there will be planned downtime of up to 15 minutes per node.

We have tested the release and do not anticipate any unexpected downtime other than mentioned above as a result of the update. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
