Blockdaemon will support Xlayer testnet load testing on testnet infrastructure on November 26, 2025 at 03:00 UTC.
During this activity, the Xlayer team will intentionally apply additional load to the network to validate performance and stability. There may be limited service interruption and degraded performance during the testing window.
*Summary of Technical Changes* • High-load testing of Xlayer testnet nodes to validate behavior under elevated transaction throughput. • Stress-testing of RPC endpoints and related infrastructure to observe latency and error characteristics. • Monitoring of block production, chain synchronization, and indexing performance under simulated heavy usage.
*Customer Impact* Customers using Blockdaemon’s Xlayer testnet endpoints may experience increased latency, timeouts, or temporarily degraded performance around the start of the testing window. This activity is limited to testnet; mainnet services are not expected to be affected. No action is required from customers, but we recommend avoiding critical test activities during this time where possible.
