[Polkadot Dedicated RPCs & Validators] – Asset Hub support, Polkadot v1.19.2 & Sidecar API v20.7.2

Blockdaemon will update all Kusama and Polkadot dedicated RPC and Validator nodes to v1.19.2 as well as Sidecar API to v20.7.2 on 09/18/25. We are updating our nodes due to a release from the Parity foundation. Alongside these protocol version upgrades, we will also perform internal maintenance to update supporting systems and enable Asset Hub support. This update applies to all Blockdaemon Kusama and Polkadot dedicated RPC and Validator nodes, there will be planned downtime of up to 30 minutes per node.

We have tested the release and do not anticipate any unexpected downtime other than mentioned above as a result of the update. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
