Blockdaemon will update all X Layer mainnet nodes to xlayer-erigon v0.9.2 on October 20, 2025 at 10:00 UTC. We are updating our nodes due to the official release for X Layer. There will be planned downtime of up to 10 minutes.
Summary of Technical Changes • Realtime: fix subscription sending empty block and transaction messages.  • Realtime: fix CI and correct Block API transaction order.  • Improve datastream client performance for fetching latest height.  • Realtime: fix inconsistent eth_blockNumber height reporting. 
Customer Impact During the maintenance window, customers may experience brief unavailability of RPC endpoints and intermittent errors when submitting transactions or querying chain data. Service will automatically resume once the upgrade completes.
