Blockdaemon will update Solana Testnet Validator nodes to Frankendancer v0.404.20113 today. We are updating our nodes due to a release from the Solana Foundation. The urgency of this release stems from a feature gate activation at the start of epoch 757 on the Testnet network. Nodes that are not running the latest software risk forking off at the end of the next epoch boundary, which occurs in two days. This update applies to all Blockdaemon Solana Testnet Validator nodes, there will be planned downtime of up to 10 minutes per node.
We do not anticipate any unexpected downtime other than mentioned above as a result of the update. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
This scheduled maintenance affected: Staking Reporting API (Solana Staking Reporting), Staking API (Solana Staking API), and Public Validators (Solana Validator).
