Blockdaemon will update all Provenance nodes to v1.26.0-rc2 on December 4, 2025. We are updating our nodes due to the official Provenance Blockchain release. There will be planned downtime of up to 15 minutes during the rollout.
Summary of Technical Changes • Introduces the new x/flatfees module, transitioning fee management to be based on message type rather than gas. • Standard transaction simulations now return the fee amount as gas wanted, aligning fees with msg type pricing. • Recognizes legacy gas price values (e.g., 9525nhash) for backward compatibility. • Adds event emissions for ledger class creation and updates, improving traceability. • Fixes ledger bulk endpoint fee handling and corrects registry entries from the previous release candidate. • Updates vault dependency to v1.0.12 for improved security and performance.
Customer Impact Customers may experience up to 15 minutes of downtime while the upgrade is applied. Node operations, transaction processing, and API access may be temporarily unavailable during this period.
